Brief Information: West Florida Helicopters, Inc began flight operations in 1979. We have been in the same location for over 30 years under the leadership of senior partner Randy York. Through the years West Florida Helicopters, Inc.has grown from a 2 person operation to having employed upwards to 20 people. Economic conditions in the mid 2000′s required the rightsizing of the company as operations continued. In 2008 Randy was joined by business partners Daryl Schram and Robert “Bob” Pomfret, and are once again seeing an increase in helicopter operations and services.
West Florida Helicopters offers the following services: Sikorsky Global Helicopter Sales for the Light Helicopter Program, Flight Training, Photography Flights, Sightseeing Rides and Tours, Helicopter Management Services, Pilot and Helicopter Delivery Services and Import / Export Services. We can also be your helicopter purchasing agent to include prepurchase inspections, evaluations and recommendations. Appraisals performed.
